Wall Street Journal – The Home of Dismal Business News

First the Wall Street Journal suggests that workers quitting jobs might be “overconfident“. Now they’re emphasizing that the decrease in claims for unemployment could the result of a “data quirk“.

Both could be valid points. But together with earlier reporting, it’s looking more and more as if the Wall Street Journal simply doesn’t like good news.

It’s important for newspapers to present different sides of issues. But coupled with the very obvious bias of the WSJ’s op-ed pages, the slant of their news coverage is starting to seem outright prejudiced.

And they call economics the dismal science.
